As part of the distribution network in Cape Town Municipal Government, 8km DN600 DCI pipes are supplied by CNBM, and installed in Dunoon area by local contractor in 2012. Due to its construction site in a hilly area, it is recommended to use DCI T Type and Self-Restraint joint because flexible joint has certain deflection angle; it helps the contractor with easy installation and save cost to buy special joints.
